OUR HISTORY

UCAN Sports Co.,Ltd. was founded in 1988 by brothers Dayu and Daxin Zhao in Guangzhou, China. They were both established football players in the 1980s – Dayu, a renowned international striker and Daxin, a national player. It is their mission to inspire generations of motivated, athletic individuals to come. 

 

Our slogan is ‘U-CAN GOAL WITH ME’, which encapsulates the spirit of the football player on the field. The combination of exhilaration, energy and motivation rushing through their body, the focus on getting the ball into the goal. Likewise to the football field, the qualities of teamwork, striving for goals and pure determination is what we are all about. Hence, you won’t be disappointed with the quality behind our products, thoughtfully designed to cater to thousands of athletes across the globe.

 

We collaborate with football teams and academies throughout East Asia (China, Japan and Korea) and Australia, from a national scale to a local scale. In Australia, we are currently proudly partnered with Adelaide United FC through A-League and FA Cup. We are also the official partner of Solomon Island Futsal Team. Overseas, UCAN Sports cooperates with the Chinese Futsal Association, sponsoring First League teams. We distribute training attire and gear to local football academies and clubs.

 

UCAN is a professional sportswear and equipment manufacturer based in Guangzhou. We are known for our professional quality, and simultaneously efficient production and distribution. Our brand quality is elevated through thoughtful design and incorporation of heat dissipation technology such as UTECH-COOL and UTECH-DRY.

 

We specialise in brand, research and development, design, production and wholesale. Our products cater to a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, track and field, badminton. Branching out on wholesale, we can manufacture school uniform and jerseys.

UCAN SPORT CANADA

UCAN Sports Australia has  established a Subsidiary brand company  in Canada, which is an important step for UCAN to continue to enter the North American market after developing the Australian market. UCAN Sports Canada is now running under the ownership of its President Garfield Smith who is a Canadian Designer Of shoes, watches, sunglasses, bags, clothing and jewellery. Garfield Smith and the  team have many partnerships with factories and well-known brands in China in apparels, footwear, accessories and other products. UCAN believes that Garfield and his team expertise and experience will lead UCAN efficiently and provide quality products and services to consumers in the North American market Place.

 

Garfield Smith  have always loved Fashion even though I spent the better part of my working professional life in the financial industry and I am a self-taught Designer and it comes natural to me because of my love for Art and Fashion. I considered myself a Man of the world so I travelled throughout the World from North America, Asia, the Caribbean and Europe and studied and observed different Styles of fashion and have an intrinsic value for Cultural importance as it relates to lifestyles, Fashions, Cultures and Human beings values for the love of the world.”
